My story

Hi, my name is Denise and this journey of helping children in a school in India started in January 2018 during a trip to India following a succession of coincidences. The school has over 600 of the poorest children yet achieves some of the best exam results in the region. I call it the miracle school as it is an amazing achievement by two incredible women who live in different parts of the planet yet have the kids education at heart. They started 20 years ago with nothing other than some holiday money and an amazing will to help the poorest children and achieved the impossible. Then in January 2018 I joined them by adding a project called the Gift of Health where we started providing prescription glasses, dental treatment, shoes, breakfast and bikes. It's a journey in the making as we aim to help the children not only with education but also with their health. I believe that it is a combination of Health and Education that can transform childrens' lives.

I work with an amazing group of volunteers and donors who have joined me over the past three years and together we have achieved what I would have thought impossible. I hope you join us also on this amazing journey of helping some of the poorest children. It's an amazing journey full of miracles and very rewarding projects.
